Latest updates in RED Alan Harwood started attending stock car meetings at Cowdenbeath long before he started school, and he finally realised his dream of competing in a self-built Formula 2 at the end of the 1989 season. At best average, he raced on and off whenever finances allowed (and many times when they didn't!) until 1999, flitting between the white and yellow grade. Ten years seemed about the right time to call it quits. It was getting damned expensive just to be a white roof. As a parting shot, Alan hired the 'Live the Dream' F1 for the 1999 Northampton semi-final meeting. A farewell present to himself, a final fling .....and so started the next adventure......
